World Philosophy Day
21 November
Philosophers in ancient times
Were friends of wisdom
And the title
was attributed to the wise
Their Quest was
Ethical, aesthetical and theological
A balance of those
Leads to happiness
For the love of wisdom!
Think before you act

This really had to be a very big day seeing that it is philosophy that is being celebrated. I didn’t know that there is anything like a day to celebrate philosophy. I like the fact that you can point this out to us on your website. I really enjoyed reading this post here. Cheers!
Cheers!Thank,you!
Hello there, I must say that you have a very nice layout(your website)and this article is very nice and also informative too and I know it would be of great help to the public as it has been of help to me,I don’t really know much about the November 21(philosophy day)but I think I have a good understanding about it now from reading your article.
Welcome Feji… awareness is key indeed.Thank you
Philosophy is an area that has always intrigued me overtime because of the depth it encompasses. I have found it worth while to study because of the diverseness of the field. Philosophers are great thinkers whose thinking defiles the ordinary. Thanks so much for sharing this out here. I really fancy this short message
Thank you for liking!’Our world needs a lot of in depth thinking indeed…
I really liked this. Wise words! How many times I regretted something because I didn’t think enough before I did. on the other hand, overthink a decision is not good advice either. It was worded beautiful, thank you so much I really enjoyed your post.I can’t wait to read more from you.
Thank you VeronicaHave an awesome day!
Happy World Philosophy Day too! To be honest, I’m very grateful for the philosophers in ancient time. Because I truly believe, without them, technology and science that exist today would not exist.Besides that, in my opinion, at World Philosophy Day, we have to do a self-check for ourselves. Because based on the biography that I have read, that almost all philosophers are very humble, just like one of Steve Jobs’s words “Stay Foolish, Stay Hungry. Thats why we need to do the sameAnd finally, I agree with your statement to think before act. Because today, so many people act before think.Because if everyone think before act, I think our world will be more peaceful. What do you think?
You are right… we need more than thinking also, we need ethical thinkingWhat is right and what is wrong…
hello, i really want to first appreciate your effort put into creating this website and writing this article. In establishing World Philosophy Day in 2005, UNESCO’s General Conference highlighted the importance of this discipline, especially for young people and this write-up is really inspiring. thanks for the post. it is of great help to me
Yes Benny, philosophy should be studied by all. It is the wisdom of old, shared over the centuries. Our roots so to say…Thank you for reading!
