This is like the first time that u am hearing about the solidarity day. I have to say that the concept is a very good one and I like how you have pointed out that we need something like this to help different people. I must also participate in this in coming years. I went to read up about International Human Solidarity and one of the concepts is to celebrate unity in our diversity. I want to echo that because it’s such a strong statement that can build peace among neighbors, communities, and countries of different cultures, races, and religions. In the modern world, people are more drifted apart despite the proximity of technology and that’s something we need to work on and bring back that lost of humanity our forefathers have fought in the past.
You are so right Cathy! Unity in diversity is the key with one common denominator: our humanity, our being humans sharing the same planet. We really need to take care of each other so that we can grow to full stature of human maturity.Thank you fir wit!
I agree with you there my friend. I wish we stood in solidarity a little more than we do in this world! If everyone took a little time away from their screens to remember what was important in their life once in a while, I think we would have a better world to live in! Peace brother 🙂
